AETHERFALL / TOP-DOWN Game – In DevelopmenT

After working on Echoes (my other game project), I really felt the urge to go one step further—both creatively and technically. That’s how Aetherfall started.
It’s the first time I’m building a full game from scratch, and honestly, it’s been a massive milestone for me.
As a longtime Diablo fan (yep, even Diablo IV—don’t judge me!), I’ve always loved dungeon crawlers. So I decided to dive into that genre but with a sci-fi twist. I followed a great series of tutorials and slowly started shaping the gameplay from the ground up.

In Aetherfall, you’ll be able to pick from different character classes, fight a range of enemies (bosses included), and explore multiple levels. There’s a health and mana system, potions to heal, mana that regenerates over time—and you’ll need to manage all of that wisely. I’m even working on adding online multiplayer, which would be a first for me.

It’s still a work in progress, but this project already feels like a big leap forward in my journey as a game designer and technical artist.
Here’s a quick look at the current gameplay!
